Academia Sinica offers the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) for International students. It provides inter-disciplinary PhD Programs in nine fields, i.e. Chemical Biology and Molecular Biophysics, Molecular Science and Technology, Molecular and Biological Agricultural Sciences, Bioinformatics, Molecular and Cell Biology, Nano Science and Technology, Molecular Medicine, Earth System Science and Biodiversity. The fellowship covers a monthly stipend of NT$32,000 (around USD 1050) for the first year and extended for two more years for students who perform well academically.
