Is Black Wheat beneficial for human health? Is it true or just a lie...?


Black wheat is a registered variety in India. There are many research papers available on internet in favor of its benefits for human health. But in Pakistan it is quite controversial. With bubble of G1 Garlic in Pakistan, black wheat, black rice and black corn also got in spotlight. Black wheat seed for cultivation was sold even up to PKR 22000/- per kg in Pakistan. As the G1 Garlic bubble burst, the interest in black wheat cultivation also hugely declined.
This video was recorded during flight in response of question regarding benefits of black wheat for human health while Govt. Ayub Agriculture Research Institute Faisalabad, Pakistan denied all the claims about it.

Dr Sarwat Naz Mirza has been appointed pro-vice-chancellor of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR).
